Mobile Phone could causes BRAIN CANCER

Kamis, 18 November 2010

A recent study that combines the best data from previous studies showing that microwave radio on a cell phone, or commonly known as the mobile (phone), actually proved to increase the risk of brain canceWS.

An independent study conducted by educational institutions Apeejay College of Engineering from India were also ensure that the risk of active mobile users greater cancer or brain tumors compared to mobile phone users in general.

"We conclude that long-term mobile phone use is not safe for users," said RB Dubey, one of the researchers, who cited VIVAnews from TG Daily, Thursday, November 18, 2010.

Previously, there have been approximately 11 long-term studies that examine the risks of using mobile phones, and all have different results. Earlier this year, Interphones studies conducted over 10 years revealed that mobile phone users with high usage levels of risk of brain tumor attack.

However, another study led by Professor Lennart Hardell said there was only limited to a substantially increased risk for mobile phone users.

To note, currently, there are other long-term studies are still underway in Europe and would take 30 years to make conclusions.

Indeed Dubey research team has integrated the research data collected Interphones and Hardell. "And, the results are known: long-term mobile phone users can double the risk of developing glioma or acoustic neuroma, a benign tumor involving cells in the myelin sheath around the eighth cranial nerve," he explained. "Then, later this tumor will grow and spread to parts of the brain is open."

Unfortunately, the results of this research has not been published by Dubey. Known only about 15-20 cases of brain tumor discovered from 100,000 people in the United States. And, microwave radiation is not the only cause.

However, most studies did prove that radio signals emitted from mobile phones is absorbed up to two inches into the adult skull, and of course more in the skulls of children.

In the United States, researchers have asked the government to take these issues and take immediate steps to revise the standards used for transmitting microwaves.
